An authentic Tuscan hill town

Our olive oil is produced in Pereta, a Tuscan hill town located at an altitude of 928 feet, which was built by the Aldobrandeschi family in the 10th and the 11th centuries as an outpost situated between the coast and the sea, located as it was at a strategic position along a road to which there was no alternative route. Pereta is locbe found in the Tuscan Maremma, in the province of Grosseto, alo the road that leads from Magliano in Toscana to Scansano.

The hill where the olive grove is located faces the sea on one side and the mountains on the other, combining the softness of the salty sea air and the strength of the cold mountain air. The grove produces a shiny oil, as wild as the Maremma itself – a land of harmonious and discordant notes, perfectly combined.

The sunsets that you can admire from Massedale are just breathtaking – you can never become blasé about such beauty.
